Those of you familiar with the trucking industry are well aware of the "extensive" legislation in place for long-haul truck drivers, in the U.S.A. and Canada. The laws in both countries are very specific and detailed. Long-haul truck drivers are required to complete a daily inspection of their units prior to driving, fill in a precise daily log of their activities - both on and off duty hours - and detail their cargo on a lading form.
